Flame Stripe Chevron Lampshade
A fantastic print by Kaffe Fasset in multi-coloured chevrons. I love Missoni and I love Kaffe Fassett so I was delighted to find out that Kaffe worked for Missoni way back in the 70's. This pattern, in rich shades of ochre, pink, grey and green, is based on Italian flame stitch work as seen on Bargello Tapestries.
The shade in the main image measures 35cm diameter x 22cm high and can be used for a base or pendant fitting. Made by me in my Sussex workshop, this handmade lampshade has a rolled edge and comes with an adaptor ring to make it suitable for both standard UK and European fittings. The placement of the pattern may vary from shade to shade but I will always ensure that your lampshade looks beautiful.
I try to represent colours as accurately as possible but they may vary slightly from monitor to monitor. You can order a small fabric sample here.
Made from 100% cotton fabric on a PVC base which is UV stable and flame retardant, engineered for lampshade making and has passed the Glow Wire Test carried out by the Lighting Association. For use with energy saving bulbs up to a maximum 60W.
All lampshades are handmade to order and as such may take to 2-3 weeks to be delivered. However, it's usually not as long as this.
